Handover Document instructions

The handover is to be in a handover.zip file which is to include:  

  1. a README.html file with links to code (git?), docs, instructions.
  2. a zip file with all the code and data needed.
  3. a folder with all documents (reqs/design/code etc).
  4. instructions on how to set up server(s) and to build and run and access everything

Basically, whatever client would need to continue with their project. Upload your handover document to your git repo.

Send a link to the handover zip file by email to the client and CC me and your TA.  Use the SUBJECT LINE:  COMS402C: <YOUR PROJECT NAME> HANDOVER ARTIFACTS TO CLIENT If the zip file is too big - then send a link to it (on cybox etc).

 

CHECK THIS BEFORE SUBMITTING:

  • take the zip file you created and unzip it.
  • follow the instructions you have created in step 4. Are you able to build, run, and access everything? If not - you are not done!
